The AGI Young Gerontologist Awards at the Longevity Conclave 2026 comprise three categories. Each category is open only to applicants below 35 years of age. Proof of age is mandatory.
Important: Only one award will be conferred in each category.

Bangalore University Travel Prize
• Biomedical Gerontology
• Psycho-social Gerontology
Partial travel support will be offered to a limited number of research students who do not have other funding.
Travel support aims to help early-career researchers to cover some travel/attendance costs for the AGI biennial meeting.
Eligibility Criteria and Other Details
Eligibility
- Participants should be AGI member
- Age restriction: under 35 years for young researchers.
- Conference participation: Acceptance of an abstract or presentation at the conference.
- Student / early career: Priority for students, PhD candidates, and early-career academics.
- Proof of need or lack of other funding: Some support schemes may consider whether applicants have other funding.
Travel Support criteria:
Travel Prizes (e.g., Bangalore University Travel Prize):
Travel Support will be awarded to young researchers covering some travel costs for presenting a paper in either biomedical or psycho-social category.
